Dreamtime: Emu is visible almost everywhere in Australia. It is the biggest bird in Australia. Except rainforest Emu is visible all over Australia. They have shaggy grey-brown feathers, long necks and long leg. Emu is biggest flightless bird bears the honour on “AUSTRALIAN COAT OF ARMS” Emu is the sole member of the family Dromaiid of the order casuarinas. The bird in 1.5-meter-tall and weigh more than 45kg. Emus make far-carrying, booming and drumming calls. These fast-running birds live in small mobs and eat green plants, seeds and insects. A male emu incubates from 5 to 15 dark green eggs in a scape on the ground for 55 days. Barbara Egan a well know Aboriginal artist, is from Victoria, Australia.
